Josh - President
Meet Josh Jasper! Josh is deeply passionate about fostering opportunities for development in the sport, ensuring that soccer is accessible to everyone in the community. Known for his sense of humor and love of spending quality time with his family, Josh is a huge fan of Ted Lasso, embodying the show's optimism and leadership style in both his personal and professional life. His ability to lead with heart and make people laugh is what makes him an invaluable asset to his family, his community, and his work.
He has spent nearly a decade coaching for MVYS, and recently received his US Soccer Grassroots license in 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11, as well as his Safe Soccer Clearance. After serving as Vice President for the 2024 season, he was unanimously voted into as the new President of the Board in 2025 and we love how he has driven this program forward!
Danielle - Vice President
Meet Danielle Karwocki! Danielle is a dedicated wife and mother of two, healthcare professional, and avid reader. She is passionate about ensuring a positive experience for young athletes in the Merrimack Valley and not only contributes to our soccer program but is active in coaching other sports, including basketball, baseball, and softball. In addition to giving back to her community, she actively contributes to her church and enjoys crafting and spending quality time with her family. Her commitment to service, leadership, and family sets her apart as a role model and a source of support for those around her and we’re lucky to have her as Vice President of the MVYS Soccer Board!
Charlotte - Marketing, Sponsorships & Event Coordinator
Meet Charlotte Ferritto! Charlotte has a background in graphic design, leadership, and community development and thrives on fostering social connections and creating meaningful experiences. Charlotte’s dedication to her family is evident as she actively supports her two children, who are involved in Merrimack Valley youth sports, even stepping up as a coach last season for MVYS. As the Sponsorship & Event Coordinator, she combines her creative expertise, leadership skills, and love for community building to drive successful partnerships and memorable events, like the MV Cup/Jamboree, all while enjoying her favorite, Diet Coke, along the way!
Lynn - Treasurer
Meet Lynn Bedwell! Lynn is warm and thoughtful with a background in camp counseling, where she developed a talent for guiding and supporting young people in a positive and nurturing way. Known for her quiet yet approachable demeanor, she fosters a welcoming atmosphere for those around her. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Lynn plays a key role as the Treasurer on the MVYS Soccer Board, managing financial records, overseeing the budget, and ensuring accurate tax filing. She is deeply committed to her two children, encouraging their involvement in sports and helping them grow into respectful and responsible individuals. Lynn’s dedication to both her family and her community makes her an invaluable member of our board!
Courtney - Secretary
Meet Courtney Hannon - Secretary! Courtney joined the MVYS Board last year as a Member at Large, and we’re excited to share that she’s stepping into the role of Secretary this season — following in some pretty big footsteps and doing an amazing job already. A Webster resident and mom of four, Courtney has two kids in the program and has also coached with MVYS, giving her a deep understanding of our players, families, and what makes this community special.
Courtney is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed, and her background in higher education makes her a perfect fit for keeping our board organized, on track, and running smoothly. From managing records to helping keep communication clear and meetings productive, she brings thoughtfulness, dedication, and a great attitude to everything she does. We’re thrilled to have Courtney at the helm in this role and grateful for the energy and care she brings to MVYS.
Kate - Programs Coordinator
Meet Kate Anderson - Our Programs Coordinator! Kate effortlessly juggles the chaos of family life with a calm, graceful presence and her signature sharp, dry sense of humor. Often spotted cruising around in the family Jeep, she’s always on the move — whether it’s for work, PTA meetings, or MVYS.
After doing a fantastic job as Secretary, Kate has stepped into a new and vital role as our Programs Coordinator. In this position, she acts as the “glue” that holds our programs together and the go-between for our different teams and initiatives, helping ensure everything is running smoothly, staying organized, and is well supported. Her ability to keep people connected, details straight, and plans moving forward makes a huge difference behind the scenes. Kate handles it all with dedication (and humor), and we’re incredibly grateful to have her helping keep MVYS aligned and thriving.
Pete - Equipment
Meet Pete Bedwell – also known as “The Kit Man!” He is a passionate Brit with a deep love for soccer. With a background in camp counseling, Pete thrives on creating positive, fun environments for kids to learn and grow. A fan of a good pun, he’s known for keeping the atmosphere lighthearted while being the go-to person for maintaining the fields, equipment, and resources essential for both players and coaches. His proudest moments come from watching his two daughters play soccer through MVYS, where he is actively involved behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly for the next generation of players.
Anya - Member At Large
Meet Our Member at Large – Anya Chase! She brings passion for supporting the mission and vision of MVYS, actively contributing to its growth and success. Her daughters participate in the program, giving her a personal investment in ensuring a positive experience for all players. She will assist in various capacities, from helping the board with strategic planning and player development to offering overall support to both athletes and families. As a newcomer for the upcoming season, Anya is eager to work collaboratively, bring fresh perspectives, and strengthen the sense of community within the organization. Her involvement reflects a strong commitment to fostering an environment of teamwork, development, and sportsmanship!
Todd - Member At Large
Meet Our Member at Large - Todd Miller! A proud resident of Salisbury, Todd and his family have been part of the MVYS community for years. With two kids in the program, he has a personal investment in making sure every player has a great experience. Todd coaches multiple age groups and is always willing to jump in wherever help is needed — usually with a quick remark or a bit of well-timed sarcasm to keep things light. His wife, Meagan, is also an invaluable (and unofficial!) Board helper, and together they’ve both been “roped in” — but thankfully, they love it. We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and heart they both bring to MVYS!
