Josh - President
Meet Josh Jasper! Josh is deeply passionate about fostering opportunities for development in the sport, ensuring that soccer is accessible to everyone in the community. Known for his sense of humor and love of spending quality time with his family, Josh is a huge fan of Ted Lasso, embodying the show's optimism and leadership style in both his personal and professional life. His ability to lead with heart and make people laugh is what makes him an invaluable asset to his family, his community, and his work.
Having spent multiple years coaching for MVYS, and after serving as Vice President for the 2024 season, he was unanimously voted into as the new President of the Board and we’re excited to see how he will drive this program forward!
Danielle - Vice President
Meet Danielle Karwocki! Danielle is a dedicated wife and mother of two, healthcare professional, and avid reader. She is passionate about ensuring a positive experience for young athletes in the Merrimack Valley and not only contributes to our soccer program but is active in coaching other sports, including basketball, baseball, and softball. In addition to giving back to her community, she actively contributes to her church and enjoys crafting and spending quality time with her family. Her commitment to service, leadership, and family sets her apart as a role model and a source of support for those around her and we’re lucky to have her as Vice President of the MVYS Soccer Board!
Charlotte - Sponsorship & Event Coordinator
Meet Charlotte Ferritto! Charlotte has a background in graphic design, leadership, and community development and thrives on fostering social connections and creating meaningful experiences. Charlotte’s dedication to her family is evident as she actively supports her two children, who are involved in Merrimack Valley youth sports, even stepping up as a coach last season for MVYS. As the Sponsorship & Event Coordinator, she combines her creative expertise, leadership skills, and love for community building to drive successful partnerships and memorable events, like the MV Cup/Jamboree, all while enjoying her favorite, Diet Coke, along the way!
Lynn - Treasurer
Meet Lynn Bedwell! Lynn is warm and thoughtful with a background in camp counseling, where she developed a talent for guiding and supporting young people in a positive and nurturing way. Known for her quiet yet approachable demeanor, she fosters a welcoming atmosphere for those around her. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Lynn plays a key role as the Treasurer on the MVYS Soccer Board, managing financial records, overseeing the budget, and ensuring accurate tax filing. She is deeply committed to her two children, encouraging their involvement in sports and helping them grow into respectful and responsible individuals. Lynn’s dedication to both her family and her community makes her an invaluable member of our board!
Pete - Equipment
Meet Pete Bedwell – also known as “The Kit Man!” He is a passionate Brit with a deep love for soccer. With a background in camp counseling, Pete thrives on creating positive, fun environments for kids to learn and grow. A fan of a good pun, he’s known for keeping the atmosphere lighthearted while being the go-to person for maintaining the fields, equipment, and resources essential for both players and coaches. His proudest moments come from watching his two daughters play soccer through MVYS, where he is actively involved behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly for the next generation of players.
Kate - Secretary
Meet Kate Anderson! Kate effortlessly juggles the chaos of family life with a calm, graceful presence and a sharp, dry sense of humor. When she’s not managing the daily whirlwind at home, she works in the veterinary field, bringing her expertise, compassion, and savvy to sales. Known for cruising around in the family Jeep, she’s always on the move, whether it’s for work, PTA meetings, or her role as Secretary for the MVYS Soccer Board, where she excels at keeping everyone on track, maintaining important records, and ensuring things run smoothly. Kate handles her many responsibilities with unwavering dedication, making it all look easy and we’re grateful to have her support to keep the board aligned.

Members At-Large
Meet Our Members at Large – Anya Chase, Meagan Miller, and Todd Miller! They all bring a shared passion for supporting the mission and vision of MVYS, each actively contributing to its growth and success. All have children participating in the program, which gives them a personal investment in ensuring a positive experience for all players. They will assist in various capacities, from helping the board with strategic planning and player development to offering overall support to both athletes and families. As newcomers for the upcoming season, they are eager to work collaboratively, bring fresh perspectives, and strengthen the sense of community within the organization. Their involvement reflects a strong commitment to fostering an environment of teamwork, development, and sportsmanship!
